Nicole: New Header?

I'm getting a little bit sick of the one we have now, and we don't really write 500 words daily, so would is alright with you guys if I make a new header?(:

Nat: Lucky 13!

13 Members!

And good job, Heather, on combining the pages. Haha, yes, you're pro. =)

I think I might have someone that I want to invite...her name's Jessica. She isn't on WoP, but here's a link to some of her writing. (These were written quite a while ago.) http://www.fictionpress.com/u/640704/Fuzzers I don't think anyone will say no, but I feel like I have to ask. =)

And welcome to Lina and Cori!!!

K bye.

Heather: I Feel Pro.

Okay, all the pages have been combined. Check and see if there's anything wrong with them, and then fix it yourself, since it's your page. :)
And Cori, you'll get a page partner soon. ;)
Wow, I feel pro., I know everything tonight... Ahahaha, I feel like.. like Kas! hahah.
D:

:D

Ned- Welcome!

So, Our Numbers went up by... A LOT!

SO this is to EVERYONE Who joined recently.

Welcome to hell. We lied. We don't have cookies. But we have lots of chocolate. Another Lie. No Chocolate.

Actually we don't have much...

WELCOME!

-Ned

Lina: Hello (:

Hello, my name is Lina Briare, and the voices in my head tell me that I've an uncanning resemblence to Matt Damon's wife.
Hm...

So aside from being Matt Damon, Michael Weatherly, Robert Downey Jr., and Matt Bomer's future wife, I write.

And that would be all (:

Heather: Page Combines.

Hey, So, I'm thinking we should start combing the pages now, so the new members get one.
Do you guys want to combine them yourself or do you want me to now?

Nicole: Sage?

I'm doing a lot of little posts :|. I need to ask you Sage, what's your email? I would've commented on the my post about the lyrics, but I wasn't too sure if you would see it(:

Nicole: Kas?

Hey, could you please invite Lina, I have nooo idea how to do it :P?

Dustin: Who Wants A Review?

So ya, im giving out reviews to whomever wants it. Be forewarned it isnt a soft - Oh my God I loved it! Comment.

I remember once giving someone a 15 paragraph rant. Which quite frankly didnt get the author mad at me...
I've only enraged 4 people XD

Anyways i dont critize, i help. Point out flaws and I also point out your unique aspects- what is realy working ect.
So if you want me to leave a comment with the link to the exact chapter.

Also it would be common courtesy if you could comment on mine afterwards.
-Regards Dustin

Corinne: Oops.

Sorry about the last post...my little brother pressed "enter" O.o
Anyway....!!! I'm new here, Heather invited me...and so...aye!! XD I'm new here! Can't wait to be a part of the blog and all...sounds like a ton of fun :D!
Well. About me ^_^ I'm kinda strange, I love to write, and I'm obsessed with reading medieval fantasy epics and I love anime!
So...yeah.
XD!
Just call me Cori, all right?
Cori out ^_^

Kas: Yet another Malkini- related post.

So, as you guys know from my multiple posts lately, i've been working on Malkini a lot lately. :D

Also, it really bugs me when people pronounce it wrong, so for your information, its pronounced Mal-kin-eye. ;P

Okay, so Dustin, i read your comments on WOP, and i completely agree with you. Aria does seem a bit too average. So, i've added in a new idea. Its actually something from Ember that got thrown out... See, i recycle.

Its not edited into the story yet though, so you'll have to wait to figure out what it is, :D

Uhm.. welcome to all the new members! Dustin, Brandon, and Cori. Oh, and the girls Nicole and Heather are adding! Wow, we've gone from 9 to 14 members in two days! Whoop, whoop. :P

Hmm... I believe that is all.
:D

-K

Heather: Welcome and another new member?

Hey guys,
So for one, welcome to Cori, and Nicoles invite (I've talked o you yet I don't know your first name? :S) whenever you join. :)
Anyway, I have another possible new memeber. I know we may end up with too many at somepoint but it's Love2Read on WoP. Her writing.. is amazing, and I've been talking to her and she's really sweet.
What do you guys say?
I'm thinking yes, as you guys never say no. ;)

Nat: So much to say, so little time...

I was only gone for, like, three days, and so much happened! Did you guys forget about me?
=(

Welcome Brandon and Dustin and whoever else was invited! It's awesome to have you. SAAWAKM is up to, what, eleven members? That's pretty exciting!

I don't have any problem sharing an 'About Me' page, if we need to. I'm planning to update my page today, it's in need of some serious renovations. I've been laying on my couch for the last three days, but my strep throat is finally gone - almost.

I've been writing all day today, and I wrote about 7 pages (3,819 words). I'm going to put the blurb about my story on my 'About Me' page, because I haven't really told you guys about it yet. I'm also still working on my 30 Letters, but I'm so far behind. And I'm going out of town on Friday, and I won't be home for eight days. Uh-oh...how much SAAWAKM stuff will I get behind on then?

Rachel and Sarah: What are we doing for our Collab?

I also have a suggestion: I think we should all start making YouTube videos. My opinion is that they don't have to be just about writing and our stories. We could start kind of like a vlog thing, and give each other challenges and do fun stuff like that, with occasional updates on writing. I think it would be a cool way to get to know each other. What do you guys think? Let me know.

I'm gonna get all mushy for a minute and just say how much you guys mean to me. You are all so awesome, and I love that we've become friends. Even those of you that I don't know very well, I'm sure we'll get to know each other better as time goes by. I love you all! <3

I feel like there's so much else that I need to say, but I don't know what it is. TTFN.

~Nat

P.S. Firetrucks here are red...

P.P.S. I haven't seen Eclipse yet, but Harry Potter will always be better than Twilight anyway...

Brandon: After all...

Try to make every moment last.
Try not to dwell in the past.
After all, life does pass by far too fast.
Try to never rule new things out.
Try not to judge people you know nothing about.
After all, fear and hate are two things this world could do without.
Try to open your heart to all new kinds of love.
Try to never let push lead to shove.
After all, That is what he or she would want. Whomever it is watching you from above.
Try not to give up on yourself so easily.
Try not to let self-doubt corrupt you so blindly.
After all, you may possess many traits that others envy.
Try to always have a positive outlook on life.
Try to ignore all of the negative energy that can lead to strife.
After all, words can wound just as easily as the blade of a knife.

Brandon: Death In Her Eyes

She cries and cries,
Every time,
A little part of her dies.
She is hurt,
So hurt.
By his betrayal,
By his lies.
She had done nothing,
but love him.
Now how was that a sin.
All she ever did,
Was tell him,
What was within.
Now she is torn apart.
Because he has,
broken her heart.
Now she is right back at the beginning,
Right back at the start.
Trying to sow her heart,
Together again.
Not knowing if,
It will ever really mend.

She cries and cries,
Every time,
A little part of her dies.
Now all that remains,
Is death in her eyes.

See what I mean?
Sad stuff.

Brandon- Hi :)

Hey Guys & Girls,
My name is Brandon and I am a friend of Heather's. I am fifteen. I have brown, semi-straight hair, and blue/green/brown/grey eyes. They could never decide what colour they wanted to be. I have two dogs named Hunter & Sophie. Hunter is a seven year old Black Lab who thinks he is a cat. And Sophie is my one and a half year old Shit-tzu baby, who looks like a Gremlin. Not one of the cute Gremlins! She is one of those ugly ones. But her ample amount of personality makes up for her lack of good looks.

I have been writing since before I can remember. Mostly poetry. I am very much a "Drama King". I tend to write about sorrow and pain. It just comes to me. I never could write about happiness. Don't get me wrong! I am a very happy person! I just feel that sorrow and pain are very universal emotions.

I want to thank you guys for inviting me to join SAAWAKM. It means a lot!
-Brandon <3

Maiah: LABELS ARE FOR SOUP CANS!

^^
Just saying.

Alright soo.....apparently I missed a lot. Haha.
Hi Dustin! Welcome to the dark and smelly pits of Hell! Hahaha i'm just kidding. You'll love it here in Sunny Ville SAAWAKM Town! I'm kidding again.
Sorry, I'm very sarcastic today. Haha

Anyways, welcome!

Okay well I gotta go. And I have a lot of reading to catch up on. You people make posts every 5 minutes! Arggghhh! Hahaha.

Nicole: I can smell the testosterone already(:

There's too much I need to comment on, so I'll just say it in one post. Hi, hi to the guys :D, finally getting a little bit of a mixture :P.

It's 2:27 AM here right now, and I am stuffed. I just got home from the premiere, and oh my lord was it more fun than what I expected. Eclipse is probably the best movie so far (or that could just be because of Jacob Black and Bella making out, oh yum). Made so many friends, too, and there was this guy that dressed up as Edward Cullen as well... :| It was pretty sad, because he actually looked a lot like Robert Pattinson. Yuckz.adfsaf

Sharing pages is fine(:, and Lina said yes, so I'll grab her email address tomorrow (or more like today...), and yes to everybody's invites. Now, I'm going to pee and then collapse. G'night(:

Ned- WHAAAAAAAT

Okay, so yes, today is my birthday.
Bow down to my glory!
lol. JKJK.

So I just got the weirdest and COOLEST birthday present of my life!

I got excepted to university for Writing of the Darker type.
:)
For those of you who do not know, I'm 14. as of TODAY!

So it's weird that I'll be going to a course full of old 25 year old peoples.
AND guess who's teaching this Madness!

The one,
The Only,
KELLEY ARMSTRONG!
uhhh.... YEAH!

So I'm like her biggest fannn EVER!

Yeah... that is all good bye,
-Ned.

Sage- today

Today is Ned's birthday. Just lettin' ya'll know.

The New Guy : Me, Dustin. Care to Welcome me to this Hell?

Yo. (This is informal and not spell checked nor grammar. Thus dont crique or judge my writing skills on this.)
So anyways - im Dustin. A 13 year old canadian boy in Canada. Just a quick background check on me - Im a loner in gr.8 Vancouver. Why?
Vancouver held the olympics, but the high schools suck
I use to go too parties 24/7, dance, the odd alchohol drink, have A gf. That was in gr.7 Elementary. Gr.8 has been hell. I ditched all my friends and choose to be a loner because they started getting into gang wars and drugs. S.e.x even and well im not there. Nor do i ever want to be. So im moving to another highschool next summer. So im pretty bored this damn summer. I got 3 friends..2 of which moved to the states this year =/ DANGIT..So one friend..:(

Anyways, so here i am writing away my boredom. I've done alot of research and the best way that I personally learn is to review others work. Then i can get a sense of feeling for what works - what doesnt and pick up the best qualities of everyone. So if i steal a little from you - it's accidentally on purpose. My reviews anyways are pretty blunt, to the point and are truthful. I hate comments that say good job, so i will write 9 paragraph reviews at times. I'm also two people's online editor. One whom is on the verge of self-publishing. So give me a shout and I'll review

Anyways im always up for conversation - so just message me or say Hi.

Regards
-Dustin, AKA Tomizo.

Heather: New Members.

Okay, I just sent an invite to the guy Kas mentioned for the new member thing.
And Nicole, you should definitely addher, and you too, Kas, with Cori.
:D
Okay, that is all. Hope no one minds?
Blah, we all always say yes anyway. ;)

Also, as Kas said earlier, does anyone mind sharing the About Me pages? As we seem to have run out...

Nicole: New Member?

I've asked a girl on Worthy of Publishing if she'd like to join, and she said that she'd love to. She's so nice and gives great constructive criticism. Here's her book:

http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/book.asp?book_ID=12623

Would she be able to join(:?

Kas. New members?

Okay, so me and Heather have some suggestions for new members. They are both people we've found on WOP, and we really want to include them in SAAWAKM.

The first one is Velvet-Leggings-XD or Cori. Me and Heather have both messaged her, and she seems pretty cool. :D
Here's her story, Escape of the Thief

http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/book.asp?book_ID=12437

The next one is Tomizo, or Dustin. (Yes, its guy.) We both really like his writing.
Here is his story, The Dark Lord's Reign-Syntax

http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/book.asp?book_ID=12817

So, read those and tell us what you think! :D

Also, with the whole not having enough pages issue, i ahve an idea. What if we combined pages. Putting two different people on one page? Otherwise new member's dont get their own, and i find that rather unfair... So, what do you guys say?

-K

Nicole: What have a gotten myself into? And All Time Low(:

:( My friend is completely obsessed with the Twilight books and movies, and Eclipse is coming out in Australia today. About a month ago she talked me into going to the first screening at midnight, and since I went with her to New Moon last year, I stupidly said yes. NOW I've found out that the first two movies are before it, and then it starts at midnight. That's like nine hours at the cinema tonight... oh my lord. D: I just wanna writeee.

Oh and Heather, i just remembered this video I had up from when I went and saw ATL if you're interested(: It's Six Feet Under The Stars: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exuBm10imoI (My friend was a reallyy bad recorder though ;P, she tried to dance and sing at the same time). I can't find the one with all of the penis jokes though :(

Sarah: Need a title for this AMAZING story.

My 3rd post today...

Don't know where this came from, but it happened and I love. I might continue with more of these crazy tales! Help me title this one!

For as long as I can remember, I have been alive, and most of the time, I have been me. There was one incident with Pierce Bronson, a magnet, and a mad scientist named Sir Jonathon Welsh, but that’s a tale for another day. I was born in Nothingtodoville, a quaint little town in the country of Middle of Nowhere. Many say they come from the same place, which is exceedingly odd because I never see anyone, and it’s never very crowded.

When I was eleven, I was sent to a strange boarding school on the southern coast of Australia (some say I developed an accent, but I do not believe them). While at this boarding school, I befriended a group of people known as THE MISFITS and their pet dodo bird.

THE MISFITS had wonderful adventures involving pirating, black market deals for gum, and, of course, they were spies.

Yes, spies. And as such, they were brave, fearless people. Immediately, I was in awe of them and their abilities, and, somehow, they accepted me as one of their own. I fit right in with THE MISFITS it seemed.

One day, about five years later, while trekking our way through the harsh Australian desert, one of THE MISFITS pointed out that we were out of water. Well, that simply wouldn’t do. As the newest recruit, I was told to find water.

Back in Nothingtodoville, my father had drilled wells for houses. It never looked hard, but that might be because he had a machine. I had a plastic spoon meant for the pudding in my lunchbox.

It took a day and a half, but finally I hit water. Just a dribble at first, but I kept digging and digging until more rose to the surface. Unbeknownst to me, I had opened up the reservoir for the secret city of Atlantis, positioned, as luck would have it, directly under the harsh Australian desert.

This, of course, angered the Atlantians, who had been saving that water for thousands of years (though I’m not sure why, since they live under water and all). The king of Atlantis came up to the surface for the first time in…well…ever.

The king of Atlantis threw quite a tantrum when he saw me, my plastic spoon, THE MISFITS and their dodo bird. THE MISFITS were quite shocked and afraid. They fled the scene, taking my now unspoonable pudding with them.

The prince of Atlantis heard this tantrum dear old dad was throwing. So he rose to the surface also. I was still holding the spoon up and staring at the king. The prince, however, was staring at me.

At that very moment, he fell madly in love with me. He stopped the king from screaming at me, pointed out that they had another reservoir, and begged me to marry him. And I, being hopeless after THE MISFITS left me, was forced to wed the prince.

While in Atlantis, I learned many things. I discovered how to surf underwater, how to breathe with a limited oxygen supply, and survive without a computer (no electricity underwater, you see).

Then, after a series of tragic events involving Sir Jonathon Welsh (who was always trying to destroy my life) and a killer squid, the king of Atlantis suddenly died. With his passing breath, he passed on the crown to the prince and me.

Perhaps you’ve heard of the Golden Queen of Atlantis? Well, maybe not, seeing as how it was a fictional kingdom and people refuse to believe in its existence.

The next few years in Atlantis were glorious, with more underwater surfing, even less electricity, and the people just adoring me. I would pass them on the streets and they would say, “Look! There is the Golden Queen of Atlantis. I just adore her!”

But, alas, I did not love the prince as he loved me. I told him I had to return to the world above, because it was the right thing to do. After all, the boarding school had surely called my family. They were probably worried sick.

I also pointed out that the prince had never even kissed me because I was forced to wear a fishbowl upside down on my head so I had air to breathe.

There was pleading (his), tears (his) and sorrowful goodbyes (he begging me to stay until I threatened to chop off his arm if he did not let go). After all of that, I made a goodbye speech to the people, who were just as upset. Adults, children, even the dog and catfish were somber to see me go.

Upon surfacing in the middle of the harsh Australian desert, I realized how little sun I had gotten in my time underwater. The bright ball of light nearly blinded me, so I had had to cover my eyes while stumbling around the harsh Australian desert.

Eventually, I found a town and a payphone. I used a dollar to call home and assure everyone that I was okay (I had to leave a message. They were out of town on a cruise).

Of course, I needed a job for airfare. A Mr. Warren Gray hired me as a story teller at the local Harsh Australian Desert Library. He thought I spun my tales quite well, and that the children might like them (what he didn’t know is that they were not tales, they were facts).

After a few more harsh months, I had airfare to fly home. But when going through customs at the Middle of Nowhere airport, the Security Official noticed the bluish tint of my skin (a sure sign of an Atlantian) and called his boss, who called his boss, who called his boss, who called his boss, who called The President of the United States, who demanded to see me.

The government was suspicious about my traveling in Australia and my adventures in Atlantis. It was reported that THE MISFITS had become pirates and plundered their way around the world. Was I part of them? (Not any more, Mr. President). Could I give him names? (Of course, Mr. President…as long as I’m not going to be arrested).

Now, it was inevitable that THE MISFITS would know who had ratted them out. And if they didn’t, they would find out. Therefore, I was in terrible, impossible danger. So the President of the United States decided to place me in the Witness Protection Program (WPP for short).

The WPP told me I was to never see my family again and henceforth, I was to live with a different family in Notmuchtodo City on the other side of Middle of Nowhere.

The new family was very welcoming and wanted to hear all of my adventures. The WPP told me I could only tell a limited amount for my own safety, so I explained what I could.

And what I couldn’t…I wrote down.

SARAH:-9++66+321

The title is what happens when your mouse falls on your keyboard.

Okay, so I need your SERIOUS help. I have an idea for a story all based on one opening line. Which is, like, huge. I took the advice of Heather and Ned. I listened to other people talking (my friends and I decided to wear sunglasses and sit in a bench at the mall so we felt like spies. We're dorks) and then I tried some meditation and just let my mind wander and BAM.

What I said in the last post is still true: I want to write a little on this before I tell anyone, just so I don't jinx it.

Anyway! I need (from each of you) a list of like...five names. Male and female. Because until I get a name, I can't write about this characteer, and I really want to while it's fresh in my mind.

Thanks to all of you!
This picture is something I took while in France, at the American Cemetary at Normandy Beach. I cried while there, because all the names and graves really got to me. I just thought I'd share it with you.

Sarah: WC#1 and...

As far as the weekly challenge goes, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do it. Since, you know, I don't have a solid idea right now. I'm still waiting to be inspiried.

I might start working on my old novel, Flicker, again. It's a post apocolyptic tale.

I might work on something else that I'm not gonna tell you about right now, because I don't want to jinx it. But it's fun and paranormal and...violent. At least the story in my head. There is more to come on it.

Nicole: Challenge One

Whispers in a Forest

Photobucket
He crouched on the thick limb close to the top of the tree, and observed from above as she rushed through the forest. The dark tangle of unkempt curls that was her hair whipped behind her as she dodged logs and dashed in between trees. Her improper dress was already stained with dirt, and her breaths were coming in gasp
He stood, and leaped to the next nearest branch, following her as she continued to hopelessly scurry away from her fruitless problems. Although she was beautiful, she had no acumen as she aimlessly rushed through the woods. He guessed that she had never been this far into the forest before, but that didn’t surprise him considering that she belonged to The Hushers. He smiled to himself as he realised that his quarry had willing come to the forest, a perfect opportunity.
Raklovic…” The stench of her foul breath instantly made him aware of who had hissed his true name, before he’d even turned to inspect.
Once he had, he took in the majestic enchantress in front of him, her honey coloured hair shimmered under the sun like gold, and the inky markings on her face looked like obsidian in the shadows. Her drooping jewellery winked at him, and her murky eyes possessed a mischievous glint. Her beauty truly was tragic.
“It would be wise, Nechama, if you never uttered that name again.” Venom practically dripped from his voice, not even he could fathom what might happen if someone of authority ever obtained his true name.
She shrugged, unfazed by the sudden vicious expression that masked his face. “You would be wise not to threaten a gypsy, young Raklovic."
He clicked his tongue in an arrogant snicker, but she ignored it. Nechama tiptoed along the thin branch and her red skirt danced, whispering to her legs, as she leaped over to the limb he was located on.
“I see your quest is going miserably.” She said in a slightly uninterested tone, referring to his current voyage. She shook her hips tranquilly, and the way she moved reminded him of a bending willow, wise and fierce.
“And how would you know that, oh clever soothsayer?”
“Why would you observe, when you could be acting? That tells me everything I need to know about your quest. Capture her soon, Raklovic. He’s an impatient ruler, and your head is much too beautiful to be decapitated.” Nechama stated calmly.
Determination creased his brow as he glanced over his shoulder to find his quarry still scattering through the forest in the distance. “Don’t doubt me, Nechama. I will obtain Clarimond.”

*

Point of View: It's not my protagonist, but I can't really say who it is(;
Words: It's only 428, but I think it'd be too cluttered if I added more.

I think this has been the best challenge so far, because it's helped me expand on my idea so much and some of the background on the - sort of - antagonist. I've also decided to use this for my third chapter ;D. So, thank you Ned!

Kas- im really gonna do it this time.

Maybe.. possibly... okay, im going to try, Haha.

So, i didnt get anything done with Ch 4 last night, cause im a slacker. :P But im definately going to get some of it done tonight! Hopefully... no i will! Maybe... It's going to happen! Possibly... Stop pressuring me guys!? Hahaha. Sorry, mentally unstable moment, but im better now. :D

Other than that, i really dont have much else to write about, except, does anyone else have any suggestions on new members?

-K

Nicole: Can anybody write lyrics? I hate perfume, and Sarah!

Does anybody write lyrics on here, and maybe be interested in helping me out with one of my books? Even if you can write poems, it'd be a great help. I want a character in my book I'm working on to write lyrics as an outlet for his emotions (and he has a lot of them seeing as though he has cancer), but the only problem is I can't write anything to do with lyrics or poetry, because I really just don't understand it... I'm terrible, I know. So, if you can write lyrics or even poems, it would be an amazing help, really. Just let me know if you're interested.

Oh and just saying: I hate perfume... with a passion. I have hay-fever and most perfumes make my eyes go puffy and give me a headache. My brother's girlfriend is living with us right now, and she wears sooo much perfume and smelly body washes and oh my goodness... SHE MARINATES IN IT. I'm venting now, so I'm sorry, but she's staying in my room with me and I have no privacy whatsoever, it's killing mesadkjfer.

And Sarah: it was a while ago when I read the first thirteen (or twelve?) chapters in The Misadventures of Bandit Jones, but Disgusting by Kesha reminds me a lot of it (but that could just be because it says bandit in it...) Anyway, you should check it out, maybe it'll help get a little bit of your muse back.

Heather: Wolves Rewite has begun.

So, I'm rewriting Wolves, if some of you hadn't known, and I've changed every thing. And I mean every thing.
So, the new blurb is ;

Daniel is being chased.
Alana's best friend just died.

Alana is forced to move in with her aunt and uncle in the middle-of-nowhere California after the death of her best friend.
Daniel has always been on the run; the predator has become the prey.
What happens when their worlds collide?
What happens when the death of her best friend, and Alana's aloof new friends, just so happen to be connected?

And this, is the link ; http://www.worthyofpublishing.com/book.asp?book_ID=12816

Sound interesting?

Oh, and welcome Brandon, whenever you actually accept the stinking e-mail. ;) You had better hurry up though. :'/

Heather: Brandon

^^^ He said yes, so... how do I send the 'invite' e-mail? :D

Nat: "You make me dance like a fool, forget how to breathe..."

I have strep throat. :(

I don't know if any of you have had strep throat, but if you have, you'll know that it is really freaking awful! I feel like crap and I can't sleep and I can't swallow anything because my throat's so sore. Aaagh, I just want to feel better!

I have lots to say, because I missed so much while I was away over the weekend. (Play rehearsals are going good.)

Heather: I think you should definitely invite Brandon. And thanks for the SAAWAKM letters, they were really sweet. We should really get to know each other better.

Ned: Great idea for the Weekly Challenge. I'll try and put mine up in the next few days. (All of the ones that are up so far are SOOOOO good!)

Maiah: I hope you're okay, and that moving went well. I'm sorry that you had to move, but it will all be okay, don't worry. And all the SAAWAKM girls still love you! =) I also love the quote from Raelynn. I hope you start writing that story soon.

Rachel: I like your plan for the future.

Sarah: I'm sure your inspiration will be back soon. You always have amazing ideas.

Sage: Your weekly challenge was so good, but really kind of sad at the same time. I love your writing! And the picture of you with the frame is awesome.

Nicole: I hope your plan works out for you. Ireland would be amazing!

Kas: I don't have anything important to say to you, I don't think...but hi! How are you?

Hahah, I was just thinking: if we add a guy to SAAWAKM, we won't be able to say SAAWAKM girls anymore...

I have a question for you guys too: How do you make all the book cover pictures that you post on here? I love them, but I don't know how to make them...

Oooh and another question: How many of you like Harry Potter?

Bye!

Maiah: New Idea??

So I have a new idea for a brand new story...but I'm not really sure where it's gonna end up. But I like it. Haha. Except I'm not going to tell you what it is or anything, because like I said, I'm not sure where it'll end up and if it's gonna turn into anything. But here's a picture of the main character, and a quote thingy of hers. (:

Raelynn Marie Coster.

Photobucket

"I don't know what love is. I don't know if it's real, or if it's just something that you read in fairy tale books. I'm not sure if it's true that it can make you do anything, and if it makes you go wild. But I do know what hate is. I know that it's real, and that it's horrible. And I know for a fact, that the hate you have for someone...can make you do some crazy things."

That's all. (:

Heather: WC#1 - It's a Start.

Right now, I'm really wishing there was copy and paste on here.
:S
Okay, so my short story is about Daniel, and why he's so stinking cold to everyone. Of course once I wrote this, I thought it would work better as my prologue, sooo, I decided to make it that too. :) It's prompted some major plot changes that I was already thinking about so here it is;

1640, Paris, France.

GONE. ;O

So, that is it. Hopefully it was okay? Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. I'll probably end up doing more with this befor I post it as my prologue, buuut, it's good enough for now.
By the way, Kas and Ned already agreed but does anyone else mind if I invite Brandon? And there are : 709 words.

Heather: WC#1 Thank you for the Prologue. And Possible New Member Alert.

^^^^

Yeah, while I suck at short stories, but I'm not half bad a prologues. And this short story attempt has now become my prologue for the new plot.

And it's somewhat.... epic. If I do say so myself.

Although, it's not quite 'short story' material. Anyway, because of this idea, the plot of Wolves has changed even more drastically... and I love it.

But now.. I have to write a short story all over again. D:

OH! And I have a possible new member. He is a guy, and one of my friends, he likes writing about romance and such, annnnnnd he hasn't shown me his stuff... But I know he has written tons of stuff, he's been doing it for a while. But still hasn't shown me... :( Maybe I should ask... :P
But anyway I think he's a good writer. His name is Brandon. And he's a good guy-- possibly crazier than me! ;o

I've been thinking about asking you guys about him for a while. So, does anyone want me to ask him to join? Let me know.

Okay, thanks. :)

Sarah: Frustration

I am still so uninspired it's ridiculous. I'm not even sure why. This funk needs to be over. Have any advice? PLEASE leave it below. Here's a random picture:

Kas. WC #1

Okay, so heres my WC. Its in Third person, but its about Silas and his brothers. If you dont knwo where he's being sent, you haven't read my story. Shame on you! haha. But yeah, i thoguht i'd show what he's like with them. and this was actually a lot of fun. It ended up being 795 words. But it only took me 25 minutes. :0 Haha.

The young man walked through the hallway, glancing over his shoulder every few seconds.
There was no doubt they were hiding somewhere near here. He had seen them run this way, but hadn’t been able to tell exactly where they had been headed. He wasn’t worried though; he would find them.

He turned the corner swiftly and ducked out of the way as a fist swept by his face. Reaching up, he gracefully seized the offender by the hair and slammed their head into the nearest wall. The loud crack echoed throughout the hallway, making the silence afterwards seem haunting.

The boy leaned down to look into the eyes of his opponent, who was slouched against the wall with his hand resting on his head and his breathing shallow.

“That’s it, Taro?” His voice was filled with amusement, “Silly me, I was expecting more from you brother.”

The boy on the floor looked up, “Well, we can’t all be as swift as you Silas.”

“That’s true.” Silas looked down the hallway, “Are the others down this way also?”

Taro smiled, “I cannot tell you that. It would be cheating. Go and find them yourself.”

Silas stood up and began down the hall, his eyes always searching. When he reached the end, there was a large wooden door. He twisted the handle and it swing open, only to reveal three boys.

They stood in defensive positions, ready to attack at any moment. Silas let out a low menacing laugh, “Hello, brothers. Are you sure you’re up for this?”

All at once they charged him, each coming from a different angle. Silas moved quickly, avoiding each of their attacks. In a moment he was behind them, contemplating who to take out first.
The youngest brother, Adric, turned just in time to see Silas’ boot hit his face. He fell backwards into the wall, a large cut seeping blood onto his face.
Silas turned to the others, his focus never wavering, and charged towards them. They didn’t have the time to react properly and soon Silas had slammed the biggest of the brothers,
Evander, into the wall. Silas held him there, all of his strength going into keeping him bound.
Bringing his fist back, he punched him in the face a few times. The pain caused his knees to give out and him to slump to the floor.

The there was only one left, Luca. He was the only brother even close to equaling Silas’ strength and fighting skills.

Silas turned back to him, his breathing heavy.

Luca smiled when he saw this, “It looks as though you’re becoming tired, Silas. Would you like a rest?”
Silas smiled, “No, I think I’ll just have to take you down quickly, Luca. It shouldn’t be too hard.”
“We’ll see.” Luca sprang towards him, his eyes alight with power. Silas dodged his blow and came back at him with one of his own. Luca managed to move so that it hit his should instead of his face, but Silas saw the pain flash through his eyes on the contact.

Using this distraction to his advantage, Silas took a hold of Luca’s arm and twisted it. This forced Luca to turn his back on Slias. With one clean punch the back, Luca was down. Silas had won again.

As the brothers recovered, Silas stood in the center of the room, soaking up his glory. Taro walked into the room, one hand still resting on his head, which Silas could see was bleeding.

Taro looked at the boys laying on the ground and then to Silas, “Well, I’ll be damned.”

Silas laughed, “Impressed?”

“Very. Never thought you could take all of them at once. ”

Adric lifted himself from the floor, “We’ll get him one day.”

“Yeah,” Evander said from his position on the floor, “Just have to wait until he isn’t expecting it.”

“He’s always expecting it.” Luca replied, moving to stand by Silas.

Taro laughed and looked to Silas, “He wants to see you. Said that it was very important,” His voice sounded worried, “So you had better go quickly.”

Silas sighed, “I guess it’s time then, huh?”

Taro nodded and looked troubled, “I think you’re leaving today, so we probably wont see you again.”

Silas looked to each of his brothers, “I’ll be back soon.” A small smile played at the edge of his lips, “You lot should practice while I’m gone, maybe one of you will actually get a punch in next time.”

They all laughed, but it was half-hearted. Silas smiled and turned from then. When he reached the end of the hallway he heard a loud yell from their direction.

“Next time, you’re going down!”

He smiled to himself, silently hoping that there would be a next time.
Dum, dum, dum, dum! haha. Intense. naw, it was fun to write. Well, i hope you guys liked this little peak into the life of my favorite character. :P

Kas: And again...

Haha. So i've just finished off another round of editing on the first three chapters of Malkini. I swear, if i keep going like this, i'll have spent more time on the first three chapters than the remaining 27. haha.

Anyways, now im off to attempt writing Ch 4. But i doubt i'll get much done, because its 3:30 inthe morning and i have to work and 8. Oh well.. writing comes first. At least in my mind...

Oh, and doesn't this picture fit my forest pretty well?? I think so... haha.

Love and peaches.

Kas.- Hmm...

Hey ladies. So, i was thinking about it, and i think we should aim for a few more members to add to SAAWAKM. I love everyone who;s in it now, but i feel like there are so many young people who would love something like this. a group to share your writing and get feedback, and a place for encouragment and advice.

It seems like we should add a few more people, especially a boy, to the group. I say we aim for somewhere around fifteen. Any more and it might get a bit crowded in here. :D

If you guys are against this, just tell me, we dont have to have more people, but i'd like to. :D

Ned- Weekly Challenge #1

Okay, so here it is.
I chose Callie Baker, from Population Twenty-One, because she had the strongest history in my mind and I wanted to explore it more. So, Here it is, this will actually help you undrstand chapter 2 more, so yeah.

“Malcolm, don't leave me. Please.” I begged. He smiled at me, face burned and destroyed, but alive. And that's all that mattered. He didn't care that he'd never walk again, he didn't care that he'd have scars covering his face for the rest of his life. I was alive. I was unharmed, I'd be beautiful forever. That's all he ever said. Why didn't see this coming? Why couldn't I have prevented this. Why wasn't I there! Why couldn't I stop this.

“You're gonna grow up, beautiful and strong, Callie. You're gonna live for me, Calico, grow up, have kids, Malcolm isn't a bad name,” He winked, I smiled. “And Callie, you're never gonna lose me. I'm not going anywhere. I'll always be with you.”

You...” I sniffed, whipping the tears off my face, “You mean it?”

I promise.”

Honey? You're grandfather's here, say good bye to your brother now.” The nurse came in.

No!” I grabbed Malcolm's hand. “I won't leave him!”

Callie, go with Grandpa, I'll be waiting right here when you get back, I'm not going anywhere.”
I sniffed. “Okay...”

The nurse led me out to the waiting room, where Grandpa was looking out the window. Eyebrows wrinkled. I didn't think about it then, but he'd just lost his daughter. He must have been a mess, but he never showed it. Everyone was so fake around me, but I knew what they said when walked into a room, “Poor child,” “That's the girl who lost her parents.” “I hear her brothers in the hospital now, he won't make it.” “What a tragedy,” “She's so brave.”

But I wasn't brave. Grandpa was brave. Malcolm was brave. I wasn't.

Grandpa!” I fell into his chest, tears soaking his shirt.

Awe, 'oney, Callie, baby, It's okay.”

No it's not!” I sobbed.

No, your right, it's not. 'oney, it's tough, but we're gonna make it sweet 'eart, we just 'ave to be strong and be brave.”

Brave.

I'm not brave.

Grandpa?” I asked sniffing again, and looking up.

Hum?”

Where are we gonna live?”

I got it covered.”

Oh Grandpa!” I shrieked getting out of the car. “It's perfect!”

Yes.” Grandpa nodded. Looking down at the beach. I ran into the house, up the stairs and right into what would soon be my bed room. The walls were bright orange, the door and window trim was black. Like a tiger. Malcolm's favorite animal.

My favorite animal.

I looked out the window, from it you could see a huge field, cows and two girls (Greyson and Wynter, as I know now,) horse back riding.

Ohmygawd! Grandpa!”

Yes?” Grandpa asked from down the stairs, I quickly hurried down to him. His back was to me, unpacking groceries into the fridge. The bottom shelves filled, top shelve untouched.

Needs some help?” I chuckled.

Yes please.”

He wheeled his chair back.

There's some girls out back horseback riding.” I told him, loading the fridge.

Really?” His voice was empty.

Yeah. Can I go introduced myself?” I asked.

Callie. I have to tell you something.”

I gulped. “Yeah?”

Malcolm passed away.”

Kay, I hope you liked it. :)

Ned- The Plan.

It's really LATE!
Lol.
Yeah.
So, Here I am.
And I just realized, almost everyone has said there plan except me.

So here's mine,
For the next four years I will spend my life surrounded by the study of film. I will basically put my soul into EVERYthing and get great grades.
lol
Then, after highschool, I will take a year off and work as an apprentice in one of the film studios in toronto.
I don't know if you know this, but A LOT of movies are filmed here. No idea why... That knew one with Bruce Willis was shot here... and Kick Ass. (Best Movie Ever) lol.

Then I will find a university, but for now, this is enough of a plan to satisfy my mother, so it's good enough for me.

Goodnight,

-Ned.

Weekly Challenge number.... Uh.... I can't remember and we've had so many New people so... We are offically starting over. This is now, WC #1

Long tittle. Almost didn't fit.
WC= Weekly Challenge, cause I'm cool like that!

So, Weekly chalenge Number One,

I call it, Character Creation.
lol.
Basically what you have to do is take a character from one of your stories, and write a short story about them,
Minimum = 500 Words
Max? You don't have one, but make it short, like a chapter, not a book. :)

Rules
-Can't be your main character.
-Can't be someone you already hear the POV of, like if I was doing it for Unwanted, it couldn't be anyof the characters POV that.
-Has to follow the rules.
-Has to help one understand a character.
-Has to have both dialogue and discription.

Have funnn!

P.S I'm floating a cloud of 'No one can hurt me!"
LOL
Sorry, This Bully that has been bugging me all year tried to talk to me today and I stuck up for myself and so she's never gonna talk to me again. :)
Yeah. I'm happy.

KAY! Have funn with the Challenge!

I will.
:)

Byee!

-Ned.

Ned- My perfectionist-ness

So, I was editing my book, and I have "Population Twenty One, writen both in the blurb and in the actually story, and I was thinking, that was a cool name. So, Untold, because of a vote from my father and sister, is now re-named Population Twenty one.
Yes I let my father read my stuff.
:)

Lol. So, I'm updating the last post I made cause I'm a perfectionist, if it confueses you... sorry.

Sage- To Heather

Dear Heather, thank you, because I too love the picture with the fame. That would be the very talented Alice Xue :)
Her website is www.alicexue.com

I got into singing kind of by accident. It just used to be something that I'd do for fun, but I've slowly started to realize that I could probably make a career out of it. I love doing it and I''m not half bad... lol. I'm in the process of updating software to start laying down some originals and I'll let you guys knows as soon as their up because I would love your input.

I got into acting when I was around six and I went to theatre camp with my friend Annie. We've been doing it professionally since.

My version of the plan? Hmm.... I hope that fifteen years from now I have a family, a daughter named Piper and a son named Quinn and that I'm thanking them and my husband on the Academy Awards stage for all their love and support. Of course you guys will be in my thank you speech also :)

My mom is a professional photographer so I kind of grew up in front of the camera. But because she is SO TALENTED I've always kind of wanted to do some also. I guess it kind of rubs off on you when you live with it for years.

I would love to get to know you better also. So tell me anything, information is always welcomed :)

Love, Sage

P.S. They haven't gotten it yet... but I have a feeling that it might be mutant :S

Heather: MUST READ. Letter to SAAWAKM

Ahahah, thanks for listening to the title. This is my letter to my favourite internet friend. But I don't have just one; I have eight.

I'm going to go person by person, because I have something different to say to everyone.

Dear Nat,
I've read every single one of your letters, straight up to number eighteen. All of them, they're amazingly powerful, reading them I feel sad, happy, and most of the time I know exactly what your feeling through my own experiences.
We haven't really talked directly as much as I would've liked to, but I feel like I know you, just from reading your letters. And something tells me that you really are an absolutely amazing person. Not only that, but you're also always nice, and fun to talk to.
I hope we can talk more in the future.

Dear Sarah,
You say you're in a slump, and have no idea what to write about, but Sarah? You're wrong. You always have something, and all of your idea's are amazingly unique and creative, and I always love all of them, and if the rockstar one doesn't do it for you (I hope it will though) then just chill, because there is absolutely no way that you, of all people, could possibly be out of an idea for long.
You don't need to get your mojo back; because it never left. You're a crazy creative and imaginative person, so don't sell yourself short, because from what I hear, you're actually quite tall.

Dear Rachel,
I don't know you very well, but I want to. You seem really cool, and very... not dead (however infrequent you visits to SAAWAKM have been lately.)
And I'm fairly sure you're a good writer, as even your posts are well written. ;)
I'm sorry your letter is so short, but I honestly am not quite sure what to say. I have some questions though, just to get to know better. Do you like sports? How's your summer? What are your hobbies, aside from writing, what's your favourite thing that you have written? What's it about?
And last, but not least, Steve the Polar Bear, or Harold the Pig? Choose wisely. (STEVE THE POLAR BEAR! Just saying.)

Dear Nicole,
Hi. :)
Your writing is amazing, and I love your ideas; all of the ones I've seen have been fantastic.
I really want to get to know you better as well. You like All Time Low, you like to write and you (at least it seems like it to me) aren't afraid to speak your mind. All of which just makes you amazing in my book.
And when you get published, I'll be the first in line to buy it.
AND you don't mock me for say 'bahaha' which is just, like even beyond amazing, considering all these stupid people (cough, Ned, cough) do.
Do you have Yahoo Messenger?
I really want to know you better. :)

Dear Ned,
You are evil. Point blank, no arguements.
You make fun of my 'bahahah--ing' and listen while your father talks about your birthday plans. BAD NED! ;)
But your full of creative idea's, and everytime you comment on one of my stories or 'bug' me about Wolves, you make me feel amazingly happy that someone actually likes my stuff that much. So, I thank you. :)
And I must say, it's always fun texting you at midnight.
Oh, and your new story? It's rather captivating. :D

Dear Sage,
I have to say, I love the picture of you holding the frame on your page. :)
I just realized how many posts you've made named after days of the week... Okay, there's only two, but still!
What got you into singing? Acting? what's your version of ' The Plan?' What got you into photography?
I'm sorry I don't have anything to add, except that I would like to get to know you better too. By the way, how creepy is Ned's albino cat?

Dear Maiah,
I want to start out by saying or repeating, if you read my comment on your poof post, which if you haven't, you really should, so, just to reiterate and paraphrase that comment ; There is no way your friends will forget you, there is no way you will lose contact, and there is absolutely no way for everyone in Maryland (that is where you're moving?) not to love you. It'd be impossible. Just, and I know it's hard, as I've had to do it as well, but try not to stress too much, because I promise you everything is going to fall into place.
And your writing? Yeah, I'm in awe of it. And how complex your ideas are, I have been reading Blood Red Rose on WoP, and I love it.

Dear Kas,
COWS TRUMP PIGS, so suck it.
In other news.... You're amazingly fun to talk to, and I'm sure we've creeped the pregnant Kaden out quite thoroughly. I must say, I love us. Bahahah, now we're an 'Us'.
And you writing, just like everyone elses on this blog, is beyond amazing. And your ideas are mind blowing, even if you don't like me saying fortnight. FORTNIGHT, fortnight, fortnight! So hah!
Any, I'm glad we started talking and are friends. But you really need to get your butt online now... Stupid cousins.

Okay, and that's it. Now... it's dinner time, goodbye for now, ladies. ;) <--- Is it just me, or does that sentence with the winky face seem creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy? D:

Sincerely, Me. ;)

Sarah: Writing is my boyfriend.

Even though writing is my boyfriend, we're having a rough patch in our relationship right now.

Ugh, I don't know what to write about. I wish I could just have an idea and write it, you know? I'm stuck because I don't know if I should continue writing The Misadventures or if I should focus on something else....all I know is that I have tons of ideas but my writing muse has flown away or something.

Take this, for example:
I had this great idea where a girl's mother dies and her only living relative is her father...who happens to be a huge rockstar. And since she can't live on her own yet, she is forced to go on tour with him. Let me know what you think...and how I can get my muse/mojo back.

Ned- Population Twenty-One.

Warning, Blurb is stupid.

Population Twenty-One.

Every Summer, Greyson Jones goes to live with her Dad, and his husband Ryan, in Emerald Lake, population, 21. This summer is no different. She'll still be going up to her father's cottage, She'll still be hanging out with her best friends, Callie and Wynter, and she'll still avoid Marcus at all costs, but the new neighbors mix things up. Alexander and Austin Knight, the new very identical, very different twins. A summer romance, a jealous idiot, and a lot of trouble.

This is the Untold story.

Okay, so, this story is really important to me. It's not on WOP yet, cause I'm still working on Chapter one, but when it is, please read it.

Characters,

Greyson Jones

Callie Baker

Wynter Belle

Alexander Knight

Austin Knight

Marcus Bodic

Ned- Well That was Short.

I got it!
Hahaha!

Okayy
I can tell you about my new idea now.

:D

I hate writers block, turns out, all I needed was to come up with a name for the campsite and BOOM! I could write again.

Maiah: This Is It.

Poof.
Everythings gone.
It's funny how time flys right along without you.
You're too lost in the moments to realize whats going on.
And now all of my friends are going to be gone for what seems like forever.
They'll forget about me.
They'll have no need to talk to me, or say anything to me.
Because I'll be gone.
Lost.

So I guess this is goodbye.
Everything is about to go, poof.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know the whole poof sounds stupid, but i don't care. That's what it feels like. Everything is about to go poof and disapear forever.

It's moving day. ):
And I'm crying so hard right now, I can't take it.
This is really sad.
But I still have all of my SAAWAKM girls! Haha. So that's a plus. (:

-Maiah
