Cori: NO! INKPOP IS CLOSING!

It's the last day Dx!
I can't believe it's closing; to be honest, that seriously pisses me off. First they make the site, and it's totally awesome. Then they make the changes, and it gets a little iffy - there's tons of spammers, and a lot of the top five novels/poems/shorts are crap now. But the changes were still pretty cool (though I hate having to use scribd to "publish" my books).
And now they've sold themselves over to Figment. What the hell. (Pardon my language.)
I mean, I like Figment. I really do. But...there's something about the writers on that site that bugs me like crazy. They're not as...dedicated...to their writing. That's all I can really think to say; a lot of them have horrible grammar. They're not as publish-hungry as the users on inkpop are - and that was one of my favorite things about that site. The dedication.
And now we'll be losing that.
So goodbye, inkpop...I hope HarperCollins regrets her decision.

I meant to make a post about the two year anniversary, but i was extremely busy this weekend.

Anyways, yay for two whole years! Haha.

I went prom dress shopping this weekend, which was a lot of fun. Me, my friend Jes and her boyfriend Mason drove to Missouri to look at dresses. It was a lot of fun. We also drove to Kansas City to go to Cabelas so he could get hunting stuff.. Hahaha.

Heather and i haven't been writing much still. Time is a bit on the short side lately. But, i'm hoping we can get a little bit done today... Maybe even finish part 2? :) She has to finish homeowrk first though, so we'll see how long that takes first.

There is only two months and like a week and a half until i'm done with High School. Which is exciting. and weird... I wish I could invite all of you to graduation... but you're so far away. :( I may end up sending you announcements though, depending on how many i have left. :D

I just read the books Wither by Lauren Destefano and Legend by Marie Lu, and those were both amazing. Best books i've read this year, so you guys should definately check those out.

Anyways, thats pretty much all i have to say, I'll make another post either later tonihgt or tomorrow! :)

Sage: It's been epic

Hey all. I haven't been posting, but I have been keeping up to date with all of you and what's going on in your lives. I can't believe it really has been two years. It's kind of epic. I just finished my show, I played Snow White, and am officially done school. I got my Visa card today (which just means I am going to buy Paget Brewster EVERYTHING) and I have been singing in bars and cafes around my neighbourhood. Kamie: A lot to talk about...

So first of all, I think it was Nat who created this... AMAZING! I love it! I can't believe it's been two years for ya'll. Obviously not for me but it still means a lot! :D So the SAAWAKM contest sounds fun, yes it needs a different name, and we need a topic for this week's vlog! Um... and as for the other what makes us beautiful page how do we like post on it just wondering? I absolutely love the idea, and the song! :D Hm...Okay off of that!

So onto business I've started a new book idea. Since I couldn't come up with any good thoughts of my own, I just decided take a nice handful of approximately 17 or 18 characters and throwing them into one plotline. They're all going to be main but I think the one that is going to be the one that I'm going to write through the most is my character Kazin Blackwaters. It'll be a lot of fun to do this, or so I think so. It's a first person pov, and changes between chapters. You won't hear from all the characters, I have to figure which one I'm going to pick out to be my main ones. Um... I've started handwriting it now which is a lot of fun, because I get to do it through school!

How are ya'll doing on the writing and the vlog thingies? And hey Cori? To The Countdown has been dead for too long in my mind! We NEED to just gut it completely and start from scratch! And I miss writing it with you! Sound like a plan? Good, text, IM, call, or anything so we can get caught up and started! :D

So yeah there's a quick overview on my writing. Next thing I wanted to share is eight things you all probably don't know about me! So yeah, random but I wanted to randomly do it!
1. I'm an anime addict.
2. I love Edward Elric, and he's mine, and FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist) is amazing! If ya'll haven't seen it and have netflix instant, go for it! Or at least try it!
3. RC Cola is my weakness.
4. I am not sociable at all, and tend to live secluded to the rest of the world.
5. Guys and I... we don't work out! >.< My recent crush... yeah I can't speak to him no matter how hard I try.
6. Vic Mignogna is an amazing VA (voice actor) and singer!
7. I collect pocket watches and plushies from my favorite animes, video games, and movies!
8. I hate horrors, to death. Even if it's not too scary I normally get really frightened... pathetic I know but the truth.

Okay, next I'm sooooo excited you have no idea! I'm going to a convention in August with my friend Allison, Bailee, my mom, and I! And... I am cosplaying as Edward Elric! Yes I'm so excited! I don't care that I'm a girl! It's supposedly called crossplaying, but it'll be fun! :D Here's what he looks like!

Yeah I'm a ranger now meaning that I get to be on Vic's fansite that he actually goes on... did I mention that he emailed me back personally? And that he's going to be at the convention? Nat: 2 Year Anniversary. :)

I'm not the same person that I was 2 years ago.

2 years ago on this exact same date, I was shy. I was insecure and uncertain, I was lonely and afraid that I was never going to matter. I didn't know where I was headed, and I didn't like the person that I saw in the mirror.

Since then, a lot has changed. For one thing, I found you guys. And every single one of you has helped me more than you can possibly know. You helped pull me out of my shell, and teach me that there are things worth doing and people worth knowing. You helped me believe that there was something in me that was good and worthwhile, and you helped me become who I am today.
Sure, I'm still uncertain and unsure where I'm headed in life. But I can look in the mirror with confidence now, and like the person I see. I'm no longer shy, and I am incredibly happy with the person I've become. And I owe a lot of that to you guys. So all I can say is - thank you.

Cori: HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

First...If I didn't mention it in my post from yesterday...NAT, I LOVE YOU! THE NEW LOOK FOR THE BLOG IS TOTALLY AWESOME! You did a great job xD!
Right. Now that I've said that...lol.
YAY! Two years is a really long times, guys. Honestly, I'm amazed at how fast the time has gone by. We'll blink and it'll be the fifth year anniversary (if we last that long. I hope we do).
It's sort of scary, how much we - and our writing - have changed. And we've lost a ton of people...Dustin, Brandon (Branden?), etc...But we've also got a lot of new people, and they're totally awesome so it makes up for the losses. I mean, we're even making videos now. Well, most of us. (I need to get a camera...)
And now we've got this super awesome contest that Nat made up: the SAAWAKM contest, which really needs a better name. Haha. It's from February 21st to March 21st guys; you guys better mosey over to your computers and get writing. Squirm the worm! (Don't ask. I've got some seriously lame sayings that all mean 'let's go' in some form. Mosey is my favorite.)
I've already got 3 points, by the way...And I'll have more momentarily, since we get 3 points for posting on OSAAWAKMS. I'm gonna win this thing. I can promise you that. >;D

Heather: I want to write, I want to write, I WANT TO WRITE.

Seriously.
Second of all, this month has been crazy/hectic/horrible/wonderful/insane. But it's all better now.
So, I got really, really sick in the midst of making the first/second videos - like throw-up-until-there's-nothing-left-to-throw-up-and-then-keep-throwing-up sick, for an entire week. I had musical tryouts (during which I got one of the leads, so, woohoo!), got sick, had to catch up on an entire week of school (I'm still catching up), and to skip all the boring stuff in the middle, had debate, debate, debate, and then a tournament for debate.
Anyhoo, I WANT TO WRITE! I'm taking Writer's Craft right now, so I've been either writing poems (ugh), paragraphs, or talking about writing. And it has just gotten so all consuming that if I don't write soon, I. Am. Going. To. Scream.
Kas, where are you when I need you? ;)
I will be on tomorrow. We will finish part 2, tomorrow. We will write tomorrow.
Because if we don't, I will lose my mind.
Also, I'm going to post a poem that I wrote for Writer's Craft on OSAAWAKMS, if any of you care to take a look at it. It's the only poem that I've written, and actually liked-- though that doesn't really say much.

Cori was mistaken for Justin Bieber.

It was hilarious. My friends and I were on Omegle, which is a video chat site where you get to talk to random strangers (though you've gotta cover your eyes when you get a new person to talk to, 'cause sometimes you get naked people - EW). It's really fun, because sometimes you get hot guys. xD
Anyway, I was in the front of our little group of five, when these three girls came on and started screaming hysterically. Needless to say, my friends and I were kinda weirded out. Then they started shouting, "IT'S JUSTIN BIEBER!"
My friend Jac started whispering, "What in the hell are they talking about?"
One of the girls heard her, and started pointing at us going, "The boy with the brown hair!"
Well, seeing as I was the only one with short brown hair...as well as being dressed like a guy...
We cancelled that chat right after. Then we all started freaking out, because some naked guy popped up.
All in all, I had a satisfying day.

Cori: I hate Skype. Oh, and Facebook.

One of them has given me a virus - and since I haven't been on Skype at all lately, I'm inclined to believe that it was Facebook that did it. I don't think it's anything else; the only sites I go on is youtube, deviantart, fanfiction, inkpop, nanowrimo, and this one. Other than that, I actually don't use the internet all that much.
So, sorry, Jamie. Skype won't even open up anymore, which is why I haven't made any sort of contact with you for days (weeks? I can't remember things like that lately) now. Text me, okay? I've been far too isolated lately - I need to have some sort of sign that I'm part of the human race as well xD!

Lol! I truthfully love posting, trying to find time is hard. I couldn't figure out the video portrait one but I'm excited for the next one. Cori: Happy 14th!

lol. Right before I posted this, there were 14 posts for this month. On the 14th. Haaaaaahaha...*cricket cricket*...erm, anyhoo, I've been sorta kinda writing again. I think the problem was that I wrote something totally out of character for Altrius, and my mind wouldn't let me keep going until I fixed it. My mind is weird like that.
So...yeah! For my V-Day surprise, I got to sleep in! Why, you ask? Because, my dear friends, I had to go to the ortho today! YAAAAAY!

I miss writing. Heather and I can't seem to find time to work on Silver, and I haven't done any writing in months.

I'm so sorry, I really am, I love it hear and I'm not trying to disappear, its just happening. :(

I'm going to try and get better at posting, but life has been awful to me and my family over the last month. I try to pick up all the pieces, and when I'm half way done, someone walks up and knocks them out of my grasp.

On the brighter side, that was a cool simile, or was it a metaphor? Whatever.

I've also been doing a lot of writing, about a week ago I reached 10,000 words on 'Let's Just Pretend,' which was exciting. <3

Cori had a scarring experience

I'm going to have nightmares tonight haha.
So I was walking up the stairs to get to my locker and, ultimately, to algebra, when these two girls right behind me began an interesting conversation. One of the girls, strangely the only one that spoke at all, was exclaiming: "I can't believe this!"
Me being me, I instantly decided to eavesdrop.
That's when things started getting weird. The girl said, "I thought you guys had something there."
She sounded creepy when she said that. But that's not the worst of it. She then went on to say in a possessed-sounding voice, "I mean, you guys made so much EYE CONTACTTT..."
At that point, I was pretty freaked out. I decided to run right after she whispered, "Was it...accidental?"
She sounded deranged. I'm not joking. xD

Nat: AAAAHH!

Um...I need some help.
So both of my videos (from last week and this week) are ready to be uploaded, but YouTube wouldn't let me log into the account for some reason...then I accidentally sent an email to reset the password, but I can't log into the email and oh my goodness I just messed everything up...oops..

So hopefully, Kas, you'll read this and (being the genius that you are) will know how to solve my problem. :)

Kas: Questionsss.

So, some of you are confused by the whole video portrait thing.

Basically, its supposed to be a video that represents you. The things you do, are, love, etc. It's a portrait, just in video form. It is really hard to explain it, though. haha.

I can't tell you exactly what to do in it, because thats up to you.

Kamie: Service

I'm going to be brief because it's 1:18 in the morning right now for me and I'm still on the trip. I just wanted to let you all know that today was the service/ rosary for my half-brother today... even though it's great seeing my family (who are amazing and huge!), I wish it wasn't for such a morbid circumstance. I truly hope none of you experience such a tragedy like this anytime soon. I'll do a full post tomorrow or the day after hopefully, all depending on what's going on. I just wanted to let all of ya'll know what's up in my life right now. Oh and one more thing before I head to a deep black slumber, Kas or somebody? Can ya'll explain what you mean by video portrait? I haven't been able to do my video yet. I started it yesterday, but my camera battery died, and it takes like 4 hours for the battery pack to charge...

I'm going to try really hard to get it done throughout this week. Hopefully I can get some free time soon...

Cori: I've got serious issues.

Not like, mental issues...Though I may have to go to a doctor and get that tested...haha. I'm talking about when it comes to writing.
For some reason, I'm totally nice to characters I hate. But when I love a character (cough cough, Altrius, cough cough), I torture them horribly. It's so much fun!
It's like when I'm writing Harry Potter fanfiction. I'm HORRIBLE to Snape, but only because he's my favorite character =D!
So right now in Caged, Altrius has been stabbed. He loses control of the voice in his head and allows it to take over his body for a moment, and shoots his friend as a result. They are both captured. Lovely, right?

Heather: Today's Sob Story.

Since Kas is not online, I think I will tell you all the reason I will be unable to finish my video today, instead.
In third period, I was staring off into space not working on my to-be-homework when I started feeling as though I was going to be ill.
Fourth, it got worse, and then on the train of rainbows and sunshine (evidently, there is something wrong with my brain here) I arrived at home, and thus began puking.
It's a very pretty story, isn't it?
Anyway, I'm sorry it's been forever since I posted, but I've been reading them all, and commenting (half-ish of the time).
I shall make more time to post now.
As second semester is well underway, and (unlike math) only makes me do homework I am able to do. :D

So, to start, I made the YouTube pages on the blog. So now you can go check those out.

I haven't filmed my video yet this week, but I will get it done tomorrow. I'll most likely be filming most of my videos on Sundays, because I have a job that I work at Monday-Saturday pretty much from the time i get out of class to around seven or eight at night. So my free time is pretty limited.

I knwo Heather was planning on filming her last night, but her camera died. So, I don't know when she'll do it now. :)

I haven't heard anything else from the rest of you. I know Ned and Nat were really the only other two who said they were for sure participating. Cori, I'm not sure if you still want to? And I know Ned said Sage might be in her video...

You probably didn't notice, but I deleted my last two posts. They just didn't seem to belong...I don't know. So I got rid of them. Nobody seemed to have read them anyway xD!
I might take a break from SAAWAKM, as well as Lamebook--erm, I mean, Facebook--and all. It might be good for me. I'll be keeping in touch with Jamie, of course; but I think I need to distance myself from everyone and everything for a while, especially at school. So...yeah. If I vanish one day and don't come back for 1+ month(s), you'll know why.
