Heather: Day of Silence.

Friday April 15th is an international day of silence, it's a day against homophobia. I'm not sure if you've heard of it before, but if you have, that's great, if not, then it's essentially where you are silent for a day as a stand against homophobia. It's pretty self explainatory.
A couple of my friends and I are running it at our school, but we've decided that it shouldn't just be about homophobia, when there are also so many other social justice issues in our world. So, while it is still about homophobia, it's not limited to it.
Instead, the day of silence (that we're running at my school) is for everyone who has no voice. Whether your cause be abuse, child soldiers, human exploitation, homophobia, bullying, equality, racism- the causes are endless, and people should know about them.
And then we're running a bake sale to raise money for Kids Help Phone, next week.
Running those- and plotting Silver- is my life right now.
How're you all doing?
