Sarah: Challenge...Four?

Bandit Jones
Reckless, daring, confident.
She doesn’t just want
To be another
Stereotype or
Another number
In some record book.
She’s a drama geek,
A book nerd,
And a dog-lover.
It’s her life and she
Will live it to the fullest.
She’s not going to sit by
And watch as the
Best years of her
Life go by.
She can almost
See her dreams.
She’s close enough
To touch them,
But she keeps thinking
That she can’t reach them.
In love.
Tall, dark, and gorgeous,
She fell in love with him.
They spent every
Moment together.
Then one morning,
She woke up to find
Herself alone, after the
Most passionate night
Of her life.
Heartbroken.
Her world shattered,
Like a thousand pieces
Of a broken mirror.
She almost fell apart.
But a heart can be mended.
She went on living,
Because she would not
Let a boy tear
Her apart like that.
Still, the thoughts
Tumbled in her head:
Wouldn’t he tell her
That he was leaving?
Is that why they
Did what they did?
Was it because he knew
He wouldn’t have to talk
To the girl whose virginity
He’d just taken?
Worst of all:
What if she
Wasn’t good enough?
She lost confidence,
Spirit, and heart.
Then he comes back.
The only person she truly loathes,
And here he is,
Back at her school,
Ready to ruin her life even more.
She can’t stand him.
Surely she’ll go the next
Two years ignoring
Him right?
Right?!

Midnight Walters

Athlete, class president,
And Momma’s boy.
Popular, all around
Good guy. He’s on
Top of the world
At West Barrier High School.
This is his home,
Like it always has been.
He’ll play football
And baseball for his
Four years in high school,
Receive a scholar ship,
And go to college.
His future is planned
Out for him.
She made him
Re-think that future.
Bandit seemed
Like just a drama
Nerd, but she is
So much more.
He left.
He screwed up.
Now, he’ll do
Anything to make it right.
He’s in ‘love’
With her.
He can’t eat,
He can’t sleep…
She won’t speak
To him. She hates
Him now, and
She has every
Right to. But he’ll
Make it right.
If it’s the last
Thing he does.

Kayla and Annabeth (Bandit’s best friends)

Loyal to Bandit
Through thick and thin.
Love her more
Than anything.
They’ll stick up
For her, and
Make certain
Football players
Leave her alone.
Kayla is the average
Students, with C’s
And pom-poms.
Annabeth is a
Smarty, who has
Colleges already
Looking at her.
Both believe in
School plays and
That high school
Is not their
Whole lives.
Bandit compares
Them to bras,
Close to the heart
And always there.

  2. Aww, they're so cute! By the way, I thought I should let you know that I absolutely love your story idea. Honestly, it's so amazing, I can't even believe it! So congrats on that. And great job on your poems. =)
