Kas. WC #1

Okay, so heres my WC. Its in Third person, but its about Silas and his brothers. If you dont knwo where he's being sent, you haven't read my story. Shame on you! haha. But yeah, i thoguht i'd show what he's like with them. and this was actually a lot of fun. It ended up being 795 words. But it only took me 25 minutes. :0 Haha.

The young man walked through the hallway, glancing over his shoulder every few seconds.
There was no doubt they were hiding somewhere near here. He had seen them run this way, but hadn’t been able to tell exactly where they had been headed. He wasn’t worried though; he would find them.

He turned the corner swiftly and ducked out of the way as a fist swept by his face. Reaching up, he gracefully seized the offender by the hair and slammed their head into the nearest wall. The loud crack echoed throughout the hallway, making the silence afterwards seem haunting.

The boy leaned down to look into the eyes of his opponent, who was slouched against the wall with his hand resting on his head and his breathing shallow.

“That’s it, Taro?” His voice was filled with amusement, “Silly me, I was expecting more from you brother.”

The boy on the floor looked up, “Well, we can’t all be as swift as you Silas.”

“That’s true.” Silas looked down the hallway, “Are the others down this way also?”

Taro smiled, “I cannot tell you that. It would be cheating. Go and find them yourself.”

Silas stood up and began down the hall, his eyes always searching. When he reached the end, there was a large wooden door. He twisted the handle and it swing open, only to reveal three boys.

They stood in defensive positions, ready to attack at any moment. Silas let out a low menacing laugh, “Hello, brothers. Are you sure you’re up for this?”

All at once they charged him, each coming from a different angle. Silas moved quickly, avoiding each of their attacks. In a moment he was behind them, contemplating who to take out first.
The youngest brother, Adric, turned just in time to see Silas’ boot hit his face. He fell backwards into the wall, a large cut seeping blood onto his face.
Silas turned to the others, his focus never wavering, and charged towards them. They didn’t have the time to react properly and soon Silas had slammed the biggest of the brothers,
Evander, into the wall. Silas held him there, all of his strength going into keeping him bound.
Bringing his fist back, he punched him in the face a few times. The pain caused his knees to give out and him to slump to the floor.

The there was only one left, Luca. He was the only brother even close to equaling Silas’ strength and fighting skills.

Silas turned back to him, his breathing heavy.

Luca smiled when he saw this, “It looks as though you’re becoming tired, Silas. Would you like a rest?”
Silas smiled, “No, I think I’ll just have to take you down quickly, Luca. It shouldn’t be too hard.”
“We’ll see.” Luca sprang towards him, his eyes alight with power. Silas dodged his blow and came back at him with one of his own. Luca managed to move so that it hit his should instead of his face, but Silas saw the pain flash through his eyes on the contact.

Using this distraction to his advantage, Silas took a hold of Luca’s arm and twisted it. This forced Luca to turn his back on Slias. With one clean punch the back, Luca was down. Silas had won again.

As the brothers recovered, Silas stood in the center of the room, soaking up his glory. Taro walked into the room, one hand still resting on his head, which Silas could see was bleeding.

Taro looked at the boys laying on the ground and then to Silas, “Well, I’ll be damned.”

Silas laughed, “Impressed?”

“Very. Never thought you could take all of them at once. ”

Adric lifted himself from the floor, “We’ll get him one day.”

“Yeah,” Evander said from his position on the floor, “Just have to wait until he isn’t expecting it.”

“He’s always expecting it.” Luca replied, moving to stand by Silas.

Taro laughed and looked to Silas, “He wants to see you. Said that it was very important,” His voice sounded worried, “So you had better go quickly.”

Silas sighed, “I guess it’s time then, huh?”

Taro nodded and looked troubled, “I think you’re leaving today, so we probably wont see you again.”

Silas looked to each of his brothers, “I’ll be back soon.” A small smile played at the edge of his lips, “You lot should practice while I’m gone, maybe one of you will actually get a punch in next time.”

They all laughed, but it was half-hearted. Silas smiled and turned from then. When he reached the end of the hallway he heard a loud yell from their direction.

“Next time, you’re going down!”

He smiled to himself, silently hoping that there would be a next time.
